Magnolia 'Jane'

The Jane Magnolia is a stunning, spring-blooming deciduous shrub or small tree, beloved for its spectacular flowers and compact form. A member of the “Little Girl” series of hybrid magnolias, ‘Jane’ is especially prized for its later bloom time, which helps protect its blossoms from late spring frosts. Large, tulip-shaped flowers open in deep reddish-purple on the outside and soft white inside, creating a dramatic two-toned effect. The fragrant blooms appear in mid- to late spring and may sporadically rebloom in summer. With its manageable size and multi-stemmed habit, ‘Jane’ is perfect for smaller gardens, foundation plantings, or as a specimen tree.
