Monstera deliciosa ‘Thai Constellation’
The Monstera Thai Constellation has plenty of heavenly splatters and splotches of creamy off-white against its green leaves. Its speckled variegation is like the starry night sky – hence the name.
It has similar care requirements as its parent plant, Monstera Deliciosa, but it does require special attention due to its unusual color variation:
- Plenty of bright, indirect light (low light hinders the variation, but direct is too much)
- Water with distilled or rain water so the water is free from harmful chemicals.
- Keep the soil moist but not soggy – adequate drainage is key
- Humidity – achieve this with regular misting
Growth is slower and more sunlight is required due to the splotches of variegation that lack chlorophyll.
